Today (like every day) I celebrate that you and I belong here— in our beloved Earth community!  Today I speak out against the greed that is harming the plants, creatures, and people that I love.  Today, as the too-strong spring winds are howling here in New Mexico, I pray for the trees.  May I have the humility to bend and grow at the same time, like the poplar, pear, and cottonwood.

Recycling is awesome, but it’s really greedy corporations and harmful policies that need to change.  It doesn’t have to be this way.
