Statement:
The director of Campus Ministry at Earlham College commissioned me to create this Fire Spirit image as the background for her worship schedule poster. I repeated and shifted two images from the Storm Journey book to suggest the welcome and conversation of a camp fire as a metaphor for their wonderful weekly worship gatherings. I love the invitation this image makes to all of us about sharing the Spirit, spark, and passion of what we know and love deeply in our hearts.
