Statement:
Greed is fifth in a series of seven images, The Passion of the Earth, a fresh telling of the Creation story.  Using poetry and art, theology and science, the series makes new connections between Christian faith and humanity’s relationship with the Earth.  Greed illustrates Sr Teresa Jackson's text: 
"But God’s laughter died as sin entered the world in the senseless hoarding of humanity.  The music of earth’s fecund abundance struggles to be heard over the cacophonous greed of a few."
