Art text: FOR SALE — waiting for a sign
Statement:
In 2000, my spouse and I were looking for a house to rent. Whenever we went out, I obsessively scanned the roads to find “For Rent” signs. I think they even showed up in my dreams! One day I suddenly realized I was also waiting for a Divine sign of where we needed to go, and the two experiences joined up into this visual joke about Waiting for a Sign.
We found a wonderful rental home two weeks later.
